THINKING-DOG BEHAVIOUR PROGRAMME (Advanced)

ISSUES

  • Reactivity towards dogs or people where behaviour is intense or escalating

  • Dogs with a history of biting (dogs or people)

  • Resource guarding where there is a risk of biting (people or other pets)

  • Separation issues where distress is severe or prolonged

  • Handling concerns where the dog is unable to be safely managed

  • Dogs who are highly anxious or struggling to cope in everyday situations

  • Multi-dog households where behaviour is difficult to manage

  • Cases where previous training has not resolved the issue

 

Each programme includes: Face-to-face Behaviour Consultation

  • Tailored notes

  • WhatsApp support

  • 15 minute follow up call

  • Pdf booklets for help with specific issues

  • Videos to help you with training exercises

  • Face-to-face or online follow-ups if required

 

Venues: sessions are held our training centre at Aisthorpe, near Lincoln. In rare cases of limited mobility or travel anxiety, we can arrange a home visit. ​ 

 

We have 3 programmes for you to choose from:​​

Programme 1

Programme 1 consists of two sessions and gives you foundation tools to start teaching your dog calmness and self-control in the situations that she or he finds difficult.

 

Foundation Session - 1 hour 30 minutes

  • Understanding the causes behind your dog's behaviour

  • Training tools and strategies to manage your dog's behaviour

  • Focus, resilience and calming exercises

 

​Progression Session - 1 hour

  • Consolidating foundation exercises to overcome your dog's issues

 

FEE: £245

​​Programme 2:

Programme 2 consists of three sessions and gives you foundation tools to start teaching your dog calmness and self-control in the situations that she or he finds difficult.
